Is this a scholarly source

Hi I found these two sources through academic search premier. But I'm not sure if they are considered scholarly sources because they are from time magazine and rolling stone. Here are the links:

Rolling Stone and Time Magazine are not scholarly sources. Our Ebsco databases contain a variety of sources; both popular and scholarly.

Use the Library's Distinguishing Scholarly from Non-Scholarly Periodicals guide to understand what kind of resource you are using.

You can limit your searches in Ebsco by checking the "peer reviewed" or "academic journal" box on the left side of your search results.
